Handgun First Steps
A Relaxed Enviroment for First Time Shooters
If you are brand new to the world of firearms or need a guide to start your firearm journey, this class is for you! Handgun First Steps answers all your questions and curiosities in this fun and informative three-hour class about how to properly use a handgun. Your PWG Instructor will take you from the classroom to the range when you are comfortable and ready to guide you in becoming capable, confident, and competent with your handgun.
PWG understands your anxieties and fears of handguns and gently introduces the concepts, techniques, and skills to become capable, confident, and competent with your firearm.
PWG Range takes great pride in providing an atmosphere that is relaxed and fun for new shooters. Our instructors gently introduce concepts, techniques, and skills to people looking to take their first steps into the exciting world of sports shooting and personal protection. Your PWG Instructor is your guide and mentor during your journey of owning a firearm and will ensure that you have a personal safety plan at the end of the class.

Prerequisites: None
Required Gear: Comfortable closed heel, closed toe shoes, Personal handgun if you own one, otherwise we will provide firearms, ammunition and targets. (Per California law guest(s) must be 21 or older to handle a PWG firearm.)
Requirements: Minimum age of 14 with Parent or Guardian (Age 25 or older), 41 inches tall, signed waiver (If you have not completed the online waiver Click Here to fill out the form)
